About us

HIDROSOPH was founded in 2008, with the aim of simplifying and making the knowledge acquired in more than 20 years of using intelligent irrigation principles and technologies available to the greatest number of irrigators.

The founders of HIDROSOPH have backgrounds in engineering, agriculture, hydraulics, statistics, information technology and solid international experience. They all share the same environmental concerns and believe that together we can contribute to making a difference in the world.

HIDROSOPH uses its own methodology for Intelligent Irrigation Management - Hidrovolution™, which is supported by Irristrat™ software, a complete intelligent irrigation management system.

Our company is committed to protect personal data of customers and users of our products and services.

About the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

The General Data Protection Regulation is applied since 25 May, 2018 throughout the European Economic Area. Subject-matter and objectives:
- Rules relating to the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and rules relating to the free movement of personal data.;

This document aims to clarify customers and users about our standards for the treatment of their personal data, in strict compliance with current legislation.

HIDROSOPH respects the best practices in what security and protection of personal data is related. About the personal data that we use

HIDROSOPH only uses clients and users personal data in accordance to the activities that it develops, as contracts, services and goods to support their professional activity. Data required are: name, address, identification numbers, phone numbers and e-mail addresses, among others. It is also relevant information the location of the customer/user that, depending on their individual data, will have access to specific features of HIDROSOPH services.

Our company will use and process data only for the purposes described, except in compliance with legal norms (competent authorities).

Personal data, geographic location and profile may be processed for marketing or information services, goods or other HIDROSOPH services, but only if previously authorized by the owner.

All personal data will be manually processed or not and in an automated way or not. Such data shall be stored in specific databases and will not be used for any purposes different from those which have been assigned and authorized by their owner.

Data will be stored and maintained only for the necessary period to achieve the goals which were the basis for its treatment, unless there are any different legal norms.

About the data holder

HIDROSOPH products and services customers and users, owners of personal data, have at all times the right to access, rectify, update, limit and delete their personal data - identified as being of mandatory supply. The holder may also refuse his personal data use for commercial purposes. HIDROSOPH assures data are processed under previous consent.

The data subject can submit a complaint directly to HIDROSOPH or to the competent authority, which is National Data Protection Commission (NDPC).
